This page has been added as a revision to the auction for people who appreciate the arts and preservation of Americana antiques. The below mentioned piano museums have graciously offered to accept this rare and magnificent piano as a donation to display in their museum.  The donation from a buyer of this piano would receive a qualified IRS Noncash Charitable Contribution (IRS Form 8283) deduction for the amount of $65,000.00. The donation of this piano would ensure the continued preservation of a rare and unique piano.  While this solicitation appears to be self-serving it is not.  This piano is indeed a museum piece; otherwise the museums would not accept it.  It belongs in a museum for all to see for now and many generations to come. For those of you who could use a large tax deduction this would serve you well and promote the arts in the process.
